Boys Of The Massachusetts Navy.

Many a boy was drawn to the sea, some for the adventure others to learn a trade. Some were introduced to the captain by a wealthy family who wanted the boy to learn the sea trade. The age of the boy ranged from nine to eighteen. Many of the boys on this list were on ship only a few months, then reenlisted to the same ship or other ship.
