In the repulse of June 18, '64, was left on the field till after dark, when he crawled back to safety; capt. June 22, '64, and escaped same day; has carried the same gun and accoutrements, also has worn the same old army cap in every National Encampment, save seven; since the war a dealer in real estate; past commander Brooklyn Post, Cleveland; has been member of city council, and chief of fire dept.; at G.
