Elias Warner, aged 87 years, a retired farmer of near Pleasant Hill, died on Saturday night at Montevue Hospital where he had been a boarding patient for some months. For six years he had been at the Fahrney Memorial Home, Washington county. He was a veteran of the Civil war, a member of Third New York Cavalry. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. George S. Martz, Pleasant Hill, three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock at home of his daughter. Interment in Mt. Olivet cemetery. Thomas P. Rice, funeral director.

Enlisted October 17,1861,at Darnestown, Md.; mustered in as private, Company E, October 17, 1861, to serve three years; re-enlisted, December 16, 1863; transferred July 12, 1865, to Company B; transferred, July 21, 1865, to Company B, First N. Y. Mounted Rifles; also borne as Elias Warner.

WARNEAR, ELLAS, Age, 22 years. Enlisted, October 17, 1861, at Darnestown, Md.; mustered in as private, Co. K, Third Cavalry, October 17, 1861, to serve three years; re-enlisted, December 16, 1863; transferred to Co. B, July 4, 1865; to Co. B, First Mounted Rifles, July 21, 1865; designation of
regiment changed to Fourth Provisional Cavalry, September 6, 1865.
