Hello, My great grandfather fought in the civil war with
the Illinois Rangers. This is all I know about him, I have
a copy of his discharge papers. His name was Alexander McFarland.Perhaps you could direct me in finding out things such as, where he may have fought,
or what battles he may have been in, or where his unit
was in the waning days of the war. Any info you could
offer would help me.
THANK YOU WALTER B CLARY
