Soldiers Of Pennsylvania--1700's

Here is a list of soldiers now there will not be a lot of information on them here, but there may be some added information on them. You can request a look up if you see a name of interest, but keep in mind this will military information only. There is no order to these names I put them down as I found them, so you may want to do a name search. My address can be found in my profile.

Capt. Hawkins Boone, of the Sixth Pennsylvania battalion, a wounded Officer, praying to be allowed Cloathing out of the State Stores, was read; & in consideration of his peculiar situation, & of the Spirited intrepidity of his Conduct in a Campaign to the North Westward, under Corf Hartley, when his situation might have justified his remaining at home, Ordered,' That Jacob S. Howell, State Clothier, do supply Capt Hawkins Boone, a wounded Officer, with one suit of Cloaths, two shirts, & two pair of Stockings.

Ludwig Hautman, a Militia Man from Westmoreland County, who was badly wounded at Woodbridge, in New Jersey, last February, and now on his way home in a very weak State, solicited some assistance to enable him to reach it; on consideration of his peculiar circumstance, An order was drawn on Dav'd Rittenhouse, Esq'r, Treasurer of the State, in favor of the said Ludwig Hautman, for the Sum of Six pounds, to be charged to the State.

The Petition of Capt. Chris'r Getting, of the twelfth Regiment of Pennsylvania, who was wounded, taken Prisoner, lost a Leg, and now on Parole & in want of Cloathing, & praying a suit of Officer's Regimental Cloathing, was read ; & on consideration,
Ordered, That Jacob S. Howell, the State Clothier, be directed to furnish Capt. Christ'r Getting, of the 12th Pennsylvania Regiment, with a suit of Officer's Regimental Cloathing.

Capt. Will'm Mackey, of the — Pennsylvania Regiment, who was wounded at the Battle of Brandywine, taken Prisoner & now on Parole, praying for a suit of Cloaths, was read ; & thereupon, Ordered, That Capt. Will'm Maokey be furnished by Jacob S. Howell, State Cloathier, with a suit of Cloaths & two Shirts. On consideration,

Jesse Thompson, wounded & Scalped on the expedition against the Indians on the East branch of Susquehanna, to the notice of the Council,
Ordered, That the Receiver Gen'l of Cloating do furnish the said Jesse Thompson with such Cloathing as Mr. Hambright shall on enquiry find to be absolutely necessary for him.

Keasy, John, wounded at Paoli; residing In Elizabethtown, Lancaster county, in 1810.

Johnston, William, enlisted in 1776; wounded at Brandy wine; residing in Chester county, 1812.

Scotland, Thomas, enlisted 1777 ; wounded at Brandywine and Germantown; discharged 1783; residing in Bucks county, 1812.

Service, James, enlisted 1776, in commissioners' department; in September, 1776, wounded in leg; in November, 1776, taken prisoner by British dragoons : released in 1777, and rejoined the army; residing in Bedford county, 1806.

Brutton, John, wounded at Fort Washington; died in Bucks county, 1821.

Buyer, George, sergeant; February 1, 1777, wounded at Princeton in the shoulder; residing in Armstrong county in 1813.
